Went in about 3 weeks ago paid 1500 to flush the transmission, work on the evap to get my check engine light off. Was given a print out that had about a million things they wanted to fix from an oil change to my brand new spark plugs which they claimed had NEVER been changed and my ignition coil, which I had just paid and had changed less than a month prior that being said they check engine light off The car ran great for less than two weeks and then the check engine light was back on. I brought the vehicle back in thinking that he would check it as a courtesy as I just gave him a ridiculous amount of money 2 weeks prior instead he charged me $225 to tell me that it needs another $2900 worth of work and he couldn’t guarantee that that would actually fix the problem. “ I think it might be the c02 sensor but also maybe it’s your coils” Don’t walk… RUN as fast as you can and never ever spend your money here.

Everyone at the shop deserves five stars. I received timely call and text reminders for my appointments, as well as transportation to and from the facility once the service was completed. Bruce provided excellent service, fulfilling my requests, offering a clear list of necessary maintenance items, and notably, there was no pressure to schedule additional services or engage in unnecessary persuasive talk. I fully understood all items on my list, which prompted me to return a second time for a transmission (CVT) and brake oil change. Additionally, a hometown hero and Medal of Honor recipient has his vehicle serviced here.

Good prices and service but they don’t own up or admit to their mistakes. They lost my coolant overflow cap on my truck and I didn’t know it was missing until I checked my oil two days later at the gas station. When I called the shop Bruce said that they didn’t service the cooling system so it wasn’t them. But the first time I had my truck in the shop they didn’t service the cooling system either and the cap fell off the onto the floor and one of the service techs found it on the shop floor and brought it to me in the parking lot. However this time they didn’t find it or even tell me the cap was missing! So they are clearly messing with the overflow reservoir cap when they are doing the inspection. Bruce also said that since I had been driving the truck for two days that it would have overheated without a coolant overflow reservoir cap. Another lie! I asked ChatGPT if my truck specifically will overheat if you drive without a coolant overflow reservoir cap. Here’s what it said: 👉 The coolant overflow reservoir on your truck is not pressurized. All the pressure is handled by the radiator cap. So will it overheat without the overflow cap? Very unlikely, as long as: • The radiator cap is installed and sealing • The radiator is completely full • You’re not already low on coolant You can drive it short-term without the reservoir cap and it won’t suddenly cook the engine. Why you still want the cap on there • Coolant can sloshingly escape when hot • Over time you’ll lose coolant, which can cause overheating later • When the engine cools, it may not pull coolant back from the reservoir as cleanly • Dirt can get into the tank (not ideal) On top of all that he was going to make me pay $49.99 for a new cap that they lost! I will be trying another shop next time…

Sometimes you don't appreciate just how good G.G. is until you go off course to another shop for repairs. Even an AAA recommended in my case and just because it was closer. I feel like a prodigal son in returning to G.G. Once, again, G.G. sets the mark in performance in car care maintenance and repair.

I've been going to Grand Garage with different vehicles and various issues for a BUNCH of years and as long as I have a car, they will be my first choice for car repair. Their honesty and integrity is right up front as it is concerning repair time and cost estimates. So complete are they in explaining what has to be done; what should be done and why, are the answers I look for and often times they will bring the mechanic working the repair to explain more fully. Preventive measures to take to avoid issues in the future, in my mind, are very important so I really appreciate their safety and mechanical checks and passing that information on to the driver. Cost estimations and delivery time have been close to being perfect and making it right to run right seems to be their aim along with making customers, family. Never have experienced a hard sell or pressured to buy into an unnecessary service repair like some dealerships. I like their standing with AAA and discounts for AAA members and high standing with BBB and Yelp. I also like the fact that if they can't fix it they might bring in someone who can (when available) or recommend a business who can address the issue. Thanks G.G.. You there are all appreciated!

I can’t reply to the original review. However, with your logic of quoting me pads only ,at 1300, my initial complaint notes that the Toyota dealership is charging 800. So regardless of our disagreement, why are you so over priced for a brake job? You can make this right by reimbursing me a portion, due to you being extremely over priced and my brakes still squeaking from rotors, you talked me into replacing. It was unfortunate that the test drive didn’t produce the sound but you can understand how difficult it is to get your vehicle to make the sound when you at the mechanics.
